I used to live in California, where I completed my Undergraduate Degree at the University of California, Santa Cruz. I plan on adding to this new category, as I try to visit family and friends in California each year. I bring my watercolor paints and my sketchbooks with me, along with my camera, so that I can “capture” some new images. There are definitely some similarities to the Monterey Peninsula and the North Shore of Lake Superior! Both places have been “magical” to me in my development as an artist.
